Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website when you visit it. They allow the website to remember information about your visit — for example, whether you are logged in — making it easier and more useful for you to return to the site.
Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which work in the same way but store data in your browser rather than as a file. MyReportComments uses both cookies and browser storage; this policy covers all of them.
We use only essential (strictly necessary) cookies. These cookies are required for the site and app to function and cannot be disabled without breaking core features. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies under South African law.

sb-access-token | Supabase authentication — keeps you logged in to the web app | Session / 1 hour | Essential |
sb-refresh-token | Supabase session refresh — renews your login session automatically | 60 days | Essential |
rcg_* (localStorage) | Free HTML tool — stores your class list, saved comments, custom phrases, and settings locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device. | Until cleared | Essential (local only) |

Browser-specific instructions for managing cookies:
If we introduce new cookies or change how we use existing ones, we will update this policy and notify registered users by email at least 14 days before any changes take effect.
