Refund Policy

We stand behind MyReportComments. If you're not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, reach out to us and we'll make it right.

1. Credit Packs

1.1 Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund on any credit pack purchase if:

  • The refund is requested within 7 days of the purchase date, and
  • Fewer than 5 credits from that pack have been used

If more than 5 credits have been used, we will issue a pro-rata refund for the remaining unused credits, at our discretion.

1.2 How to Request

Email hello@myreportcomments.com with the subject line "Refund Request — Credit Pack" and include:

  • Your registered email address
  • Your Stripe order reference or payment confirmation
  • The reason for your refund request (optional but helpful)

2. Pro Annual Subscription

2.1 Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund on a Pro Annual subscription if:

  • The refund is requested within 14 days of the initial subscription date, and
  • No more than 20 comments have been generated under the subscription

No refunds are issued after the 14-day window or if the usage threshold has been exceeded.

2.2 Cancellations

You may cancel your Pro Annual subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents the subscription from auto-renewing at the next annual billing date. No refund is issued for the remaining period of an active subscription after the refund window has closed — you retain access to Pro features until the subscription period ends.

2.3 How to Cancel

Cancel your subscription from your account settings page, or email us at hello@myreportcomments.com and we will cancel it on your behalf within 1 business day.

3. Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method via Stripe. Depending on your bank, the credit may take an additional 2–5 business days to appear on your statement.

4. Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Requests made outside the refund windows described above
  • Accounts suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms & Conditions
  • Credits used in bulk generate sessions that completed successfully
  • Change of mind after the refund window has closed

5. Technical Issues

If you experience a technical issue that causes credits to be consumed without successfully generating a comment (e.g., a server error or connection failure during generation), we will restore those credits to your account. Email us with your account details and a description of the issue and we will investigate within 2 business days.

6. Consumer Protection

This Refund Policy is in addition to, and does not limit, any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) or any other applicable South African consumer legislation.
